Engagement sessions are a lot of fun! They are a great way to get comfortable with your photographer before the wedding, maybe you plan to use them on a save the date, and how often do you get to have some really amazing photos together other than your wedding day? I always recommend wearing two outfits, sometimes three if you really have favorites you want to include. One dressier and one more casual to give your gallery more variation. Not a necessity, but sometimes couples might get their ring cleaned beforehand too for that macro shot!

Don’t have a location in mind? That’s alright, your photographer should have recommendations for you to choose from. Maybe you want some water, some architecture, or love some beautiful trees as your background! Most importantly, do not stress about this, try to relax, soak it in, and have fun! Your photographer is there to encourage, guide, and make you feel like a million bucks!
